Lifetime motor warranty
The motor in your Altitude ceiling fan is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser, effective from the date of purchase.
Two-year limited warranty on other parts
All other components, excluding glass or acrylic blades, are covered against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
Our commitment to you
If a defect covered under this warranty is found, Altitude will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective product with a comparable or superior model. The repair or replacement itself is free of charge; the customer pays the shipping to return the product for warranty evaluation, as well as removal and reinstallation costs (see Customer responsibilities below).
To make a warranty claim, the original proof of purchase (such as a receipt) must be provided. Please note that removal, reinstallation, and related costs are the responsibility of the customer.
What this warranty does not cover
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications.
- Weather-related changes to brass finishes, including rust, tarnishing, corrosion, or peeling. To extend the life of brass finishes, we recommend protecting them from extreme weather conditions.
- Minor wobbling, which is considered a normal characteristic and not a defect.
- Repairs or alterations performed by unauthorized individuals, which will void this warranty.
Customer responsibilities
The customer is responsible for covering shipping costs for returning products under a warranty claim.
Important limitations
This warranty is the sole express warranty provided for Altitude ceiling fans. To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed. Where such disclaimers are not permitted, implied warranties are limited to the terms of this express warranty. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages. In such cases, these limitations may not apply to you.
Legal rights
This warranty provides specific legal rights. Additional rights may vary depending on your jurisdiction. This warranty supersedes all prior warranties.
